# Image formula to LaTeX — actual recognition and clipboard checks

Checked:2026-10-14.
Input is the already public chi-square formula crop from the source exam:
https://doc2x.noedgeai.com/samples/real-parse.pdf#page=1
The485x94 WebP crop was converted toPNG with identical RGB pixels. It is a typeset formula, not handwriting.

The PNG was uploaded and recognized in the current Doc2X image workspace, active model doc2x,saved version0. No recognition edits, image enhancement or model comparison was performed.

Actual buttons were clicked and system clipboard contents pasted into a local textarea:
-Copy LaTeX(all results),with body-only and $/$$ preferences unchanged: copied whole result begins with a section command containing inline math.
-Copy node content from the selected formula property panel: copied node is a display fragment with bracket delimiters.
Both raw files retain the trailing comma in the source image. These are fragments, not stand-alone article projects. Native clipboard paste, not simulated text insertion, provided the captured files.

The raw snippets were each placed unchanged into a small local article wrapper with fontspec/amsmath/unicode-math and STIXTwo fonts. XeLaTeX/TeXLive2023 compiled each toonepage using -no-shell-escape. The node PDF/PNG is a local rendering; the wrapper is authored for validation and is not product output. The whole-result wrapper reports font substitution warnings.

Checked content:chi-square left side;n(ad-bc)^2 numerator;four denominator factors(a+b)(c+d)(a+c)(b+d);outer square applies to full ad-bc;trailing comma preserved.

This single fixed screenshot is not an accuracy benchmark, handwriting test, math solver or evidence that original author syntax is recovered. Original public source should be used for the statistical context. The proofZIP is assembled locally.
