The historic printed book itself is public domain. No endorsement by the photographer is implied.

book-mainz-original.jpg is the downloaded original photograph (2551 x 1573), unchanged.
book-two-rounds-native.zip and .pdf are unchanged downloads from the current Doc2X scan studio.
Native pages 1–2: first manual spread bounds, smart enhancement and curve option on, automatic orientation off. The right page loses part of its top edge.
Native pages 3–4: original photograph reimported, Select whole image, Book / Spread, manually adjusted bounds with wider upper margin on the right. Automatic orientation off; smart enhancement and curve option on. The right header is visible again; dark background, glare and page curvature remain.
The interface reported no obvious paper curve during detection. This sample demonstrates manual split/boundary checking and enhancement, not successful universal dewarping or OCR accuracy.
The 4-page PDF embeds the same four JPEG byte streams as the ZIP; it has no text layer.

Derived images: book-first-right-cropped.jpg (native page2), book-final-left.jpg (page3), book-final-right.jpg (page4), unchanged JPEG streams. Attribution to Antonio Zugaldia / CC BY 2.0 is retained for these cropped/enhanced derivatives and screenshots containing the photo. Screenshots are actual product UI, only re-encoded as JPEG.
This ZIP is a locally assembled evidence package. No new text recognition, translation or reconstruction of obscured characters was performed.
